Milly is our Future Leaders Project Assistant, working with the School of Clinical Medicine.
She is working to understand attitudes towards environmental sustainability in research across the School of Clinical Medicine, identifying opportunities and barriers to embedding more sustainable practices.
Milly graduates this 2026 with a BSc in Biological Sciences from Imperial College London, specialising in molecular biology, neuroscience, stem cells and regeneration. Her final year project used CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing to study how two antisense-encoded micropeptides affect synaptic plasticity and motor function in Drosophila.
Outside of research, Milly enjoys water sports and theatre.
